There is a shortage of student flats in Oslo. SiO has therefore initiated building activity both at Sogn Student Village and Vestgrensa.
SiO is building 147 student flats at Sogn Student Village after we 27th of August this year received extra funding from The Ministry of Education and Research. The ministry explained their financial support by referring to SiOs history of being quick to turn money into student flats. - We are very pleased that the Ministry has granted this money to lighten the burden for students in Oslo in search of a flat, said Øivind Gjengaar, head of SiOs General Board, when then funding was announced.
